John Cale, anima rock con Lou Reed del leggendario gruppo dei Velvet Underground, in concerto in esclusiva nazionale a Fabrica, centro di ricerca sulla comunicazione a Treviso.

Musicista d'avanguardia, produttore discografico di notevole caratura, apprezzato per i suoi lavori con artisti come The Stooges, Nico, Patti Smith, Nick Drake e i Modern Lovers di Jonathan Richman e compositore di colonne sonore, John Cale alternerà brani tratti dalla sua pluridecennale carriera solista (ricordiamo su tutti gli album Music For A New Society uscito per la leggendaria Ze Records e Songs For Drella composto insieme a Lou Reed e dedicato all’amico Andy Warhol) ad altri più recenti a classici dei Velvet Underground. Il 2017 celebra il 50° anniversario dalla pubblicazione del primo album del gruppo e recentemente John Cale ha ritirato il prestigioso Grammy Award a nome della band.

John Cale, rock soul with Lou Reed of the legendary band The Velvet Underground, will be in concert at Fabrica, a communications research centre in Treviso, for his unique date in Italy.

Avant-garde musician, remarkable record label producer, soundtrack composer and acclaimed for his collaborations with artists such as The Stooges, Nico, Patti Smith, Nick Drake and the Modern Lovers of Jonathan Richman, John Cale will alternate tracks from his multiple-year solo career (just to name a few, the albums Music For A New Society, published by legendary Ze Records, and Songs For Drella, composed with Lou Reed and dedicated to their friend Andy Warhol) with more recent songs and Velvet Underground’s classics. 2017 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of the group's first album and, most recently, Cale accepted the prestigious Grammy Award on behalf of the band.
