Ci sono momenti che segnano l’inizio di una stagione. Appuntamenti che definiscono un passaggio: dall’attesa all’azione, dagli spazi chiusi all’aria aperta, dall’idea di primavera alla dimensione piena dell’estate. Per il terzo anno consecutivo, questo momento coincide con Vision Open Air, che inaugura sua la stagione 2026 giovedì 1° maggio negli spazi dell’ex Macello di Milano. Una serie di eventi con il meglio del djing mondiale e che negli anni è diventato un riferimento italiano ed internazionale nell’avvicinamento all’estate e nell’apertura dei calendari elettronici open air.

Quella del 2026 sarà la terza e ultima stagione di Vision Open Air all’Ex Macello; al termine dell’estate, l’area proseguirà infatti il proprio cronoprogramma di riqualificazione urbana. In questi anni, Vision Open Air ha contribuito in maniera concreta a restituire centralità e nuova funzione a uno spazio simbolico della città, dimostrando come la progettualità culturale e musicale possa attivare processi reali di trasformazione e rigenerazione. Nel 2027 Vision Open Air darà vita ad un suo nuovo capitolo, ad una sua nuova storia.

Protagonista di Vision Open Air venerdì 1° maggio 2026 sarà Ilario Alicante, che presenterà LINK, un progetto che mette al centro la relazione tra artista e pubblico come elemento strutturale. Insieme ad Ilario Alicante, Max Dean, White Off e Michele Arcieri.

LINK è un concept audiovisivo basato sull’idea di connessione dinamica. Il fulcro è il segno grafico “/” - presente in L/NK e in ILARIO/ALICANTE - e che non rappresenta una separazione, ma un punto di passaggio. Il simbolo diventa presenza fisica nello spazio, orienta palco e pista e visualizza un flusso di energia bidirezionale. L’artista genera impulso, il pubblico lo riceve e lo amplifica, in un continuo scambio che definisce l’identità stessa dell’evento. Non scenografia decorativa, ma un dispositivo visivo che traduce in forma la tensione tra suono, corpo e spazio.

Il legame tra Ilario Alicante e Vision Open Air è di vecchia data e si consolida di anno in anno, per uno dei suoi set di punta in un calendario, che da tempo lo vede protagonista nei migliori club e festival del pianeta; vincitore lo scorso anno dei Best of British di DJ Mag e fondatore della label NEXUP RECZ, Max Dean è passato in fretta dallo status di giovane promessa a quello di solida certezza del djing. White Off nei suoi set affronta ogni sfumatura elettronica, senza precludersi variazioni sul tema e contaminazioni con altri generi musicali, Michele Arcieri da sempre sa spaziare con naturalezza tra deep, minimal e techno ed i suoi set sanno sempre come distinguersi.

Con questo primo appuntamento del 1° maggio, Vision Open Air rinnova il proprio ruolo simbolico negli opening della stagione open air, confermandosi come uno dei momenti capaci di caratterizzare in modo riconoscibile il conto alla rovescia verso l’estate.

There are moments that mark the beginning of a season, Events meaning a transition: from anticipation to action, from indoor spaces to the open air, from the idea of spring to the full dimension of summer. For the third consecutive year, this moment coincides with Vision Open Air, which opens its 2026 season on May Friday 1st, in the spaces of the ex Macello Milano. This series of events featuring the best of international djing has become a benchmark in Italy and internationally for the lead-up to summer and the opening of electronic open-air calendars.

2026 will be the third and final season of Vision Open Air at the ex Macello; after the summer, the area will continue its urban redevelopment program. In recent years, Vision Open Air has made a concrete contribution to restoring centrality and revitalization to a symbolic space in the city, demonstrating how cultural and musical planning can trigger real processes of transformation and regeneration. In 2027, Vision Open Air will begin a new chapter, a new story.

May 2026 Friday 1st main character will be Ilario Alicante and his concept LINK, a project that focuses on the relationship between artist and audience as a structural element. Alongside with Ilario Alicante, Max Dean, White Off, and Michele Arcieri.

LINK is an audiovisual concept based on the idea of dynamic connection. Its fulcrum is the graphic symbol "/," present in L/NK and ILARIO/ALICANTE: an essential element representing not a separation, but a point of transition. The symbol becomes a physical presence in the space, orienting the stage and dance floor, and visualizing a bidirectional flow of energy. The artist generates momentum, the audience receives and amplifies it, in a continuous exchange that defines the very identity of the event. Not a decorative scenography, but a visual device that translates the tension between sound, body, and space into form.

Ilario Alicante's relationship with Vision Open Air is longstanding and has strengthened year after year, resulting in one of his signature sets in a calendar that has long seen him perform at the world's best clubs and festivals; last year's winner of DJ Mag's Best of British and founder of the NEXUP RECZ label, Max Dean has quickly gone from promising young talent to established DJ. White Off explores every nuance of electronic music in his sets, while also exploring variations on the theme and blending it with other musical genres. Michele Arcieri has always been able to seamlessly transition between deep, minimal, and techno, and his sets always stand out.

With this first event on May 1st, Vision Open Air renews its symbolic role in the openings of the open-air season, confirming its position as one of the moments that can distinctively characterize the countdown to summer.
