Al via la prima edizione del Festival Umbro, immerso nella Musica, nella Natura e all'insegna della Sostenibilità
Nasce HEMPINESS MUSIC FESTIVAL. Dal 1° al 3 agosto l’incantevole scenario del Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini si immergerà in tre giorni di musica e seminari sulla sostenibilità. Hempiness Music Festival nasce dal desiderio di onorare la memoria di un amico eccezionale, Emanuele Tiberi, e ricordarlo attraverso le sue più grandi passioni. Passeggiate, workshop e tanta musica: nelle serate del 2 e del 3 agosto saliranno sula palco del festival artisti provenienti dal panorama indipendente nazionale e grandi nomi internazionali, in un mix unico destinato a lasciare il segno.
1 Agosto: SEMINARI E WORKSHOP
Accanto a una proposta musicale originale e unica, nella prima giornata della manifestazione -ad ingresso libero- Hempiness Music Festival darà spazio a workshop, incontri e seminari su metodi di agricoltura sostenibile, nuove tecnologie e materiali per la bioedilizia. Verrà creata così una piattaforma per esperti e non, per la discussione e l’approfondimento delle tematiche legate alla sostenibilità, il rispetto dell’ambiente e la ricca tradizione locale di piante aromatiche e officinali.

“There are no limits to what we can do as a band, musically and creatively. We see ourselves in 20 years’ time still doing this. We’re in it for the long haul. We want to change the course of history”: parola dei WILL AND THE PEOPLE. Dopo un 2018 ricco di soddisfazioni, tra cui un tour insieme agli Sticky Fingers e diversi concerti in giro per l’Europa, la band britannica torna in Italia con il suo melting pot musicale fatto di rock, ska e reggae.
Spazio poi agli STICKY FINGERS, tra i nomi più illustri del recente export musicale australiano e del panorama indie rock. Dopo l’affermazione internazionale arrivata tra live sparsi in tutto il mondo e decine di milioni di stream su Spotify e di view su YouTube, il ritorno discografico con Yours To Keep (2019) ha rinnovato il percorso musicale del gruppo, protagonista di una serata destinata a essere uno degli appuntamenti imperdibili per gli amanti dell’indie rock.
Infine BEBO de Lo Stato Sociale darà vita a un dj set unico che chiuderà la prima serata del festival. Dopo i primi furori techno e la passione per l’ondata minimal di inizio millennio, con l’età approda a territori più caldi prediligendo produrre e selezionare suoni house, disco e funk. Nel 2009 con Alberto Cazzola e Lodovico Guenzi fonda Lo Stato Sociale a cui poco dopo si aggiungono Francesco Draicchio ed Enrico Roberto. Nel corso della carriera diventano un riferimento nel panorama musicale italiano. “Quando suona sorride raramente ma si diverte molto.”

Appena 5 anni di attività e sono più di 500 i concerti in Italia ed Europa per gli ESPANA CIRCO ESTE. La musica degli E.C.E. è Latin Pop Punk, è Tango, è Cumbia, è Reggae che esplodono dal vivo attraverso una ritmica potente e distorta. Un sound unico ribattezzato Tango-Punk. Tutto ha inizio nel 2013 quando la band pubblica l’E.P. IL BUCATESTA, andato più volte in ristampa senza alcuna distribuzione e promozione ufficiale e con più di 114 concerti lungo tutta l'Italia e Spagna.
I MELLOW MOOD nascono a Pordenone nel 2005. Negli ultimi anni si sono affermati come uno dei nomi più importanti del panorama reggae europeo. Giunti ormai al quinto album (“Large”, 2018), possono vantare una consolidata attività live, avendo partecipato ad alcuni dei festival più importanti di Europa e Americhe, come il Rototom Sunsplash (Spagna), California Roots (USA) e Jamming Festival (Colombia). Dal 2015 curano La Tempesta Dub, sub-label dell’omonima e più conosciuta etichetta indipendente italiana.
CACAO MENTAL è un progetto che fonde cumbia, musica elettronica e psichedelia, in canzoni che avvicinano la tradizione musicale latino-americana ad una sonorizzazione cinematica e ballabile insieme. Nati nel 2014, nel 2017 la band ha cominciato a portare dal vivo la miscela efficace di strumenti elettrici, acustici ed elettronici, in uno show tracciato dal debut album Para Extrañas Criaturas e che sta facendo ballare tutta Italia.
Il primo giorno, giovedì 1 Agosto l'acesso ai seminari e i workshop è gratuito.
Il biglietto è valido come abbonamento per i due giorni del Festival: venerdì 2 e sabato 3 Agosto.

The fist edition of a festival dedicated to music, sustainability and the nature of the Umbrian region is about to take place.
Hempiness Music Festival was born. From the 1st to the 3rd of August the enchanting landscape of the Monti Sibillini National Park will be the backdrop for three days of music and workshops on sustainable growth.
The festival was sparked by the desire to honour the memory of our beloved friend Emanuele Tiberi. It aims to remember him by celebrating his greatest passions.
Walks in nature, lectures and a lot of great music. On the 2nd and 3rd of August, internationally renowned bands, and a unique mix of artists from the independent Italian scene, will take the stage of the Hempiness Music Festival, making up a line-up destined to be remembered.
1st of August: LECTURES AND WORKSHOPS
Alongside the original and unique musical program, the first day of the festival will host a series of workshops, lectures and debates on sustainable agricultural methods, new technologies in the field, and sustainable materials for the building industry. These events are to be open to everybody. These events aim to create a platform not only for experts to discuss and investigate issues related to sustainable growth, the protection of the environment and the rich local tradition of aromatic and officinal plants.

After touring Europe alongside the Sticky Fingers in 2018, the British band returns to Italy with its melting pot of rock, ska and reggae, and even new music (GIGANTIC EP, 2019). STICKY FINGERS is one of the most eminent Australian musical exports within the indie rock musical landscape. After gaining international recognition through their live performances around the world, and reaching tens of millions of Spotify listeners and YouTube viewers, the band is back with new music with their fourth album, Yours To Keep (2019). Their performance at Hempiness Music Festival will be an opportunity, the only one of its kind in Italy, that no indie rock enthusiast can’t afford to miss.
Bebo from Lo Stato Sociale will close the program of the first evening of music with a live DJ Set. After the juvenile passion for the wave of techno and minimal music of the beginning of the millennium, he now reached warmer musical landscape producing and selecting house, disco and funk sounds. In 2009, Bebo (Alberto Guideti), Alberto Cazzola and Ludovico Guenzi founded Lo Stato Sociale, joined later by Francesco Draicchio and Enrico Roberto. During their career they became a central act within the Italian musical scene. “When he’s playing he rarely smiles but he’s having the time of his life.”

Over the last 5 years, ESPAÑA CIRCO ESTE haveperformedmore than 500 times in Italy and Europe. Their music is Latin Pop Rock, is Tango, is Cumbia, is Reggae, it is a unique sound, branded Tango-Punk. In live performance, the sound explodes, thanks to its powerful and distorted rhythm. In 2013, everything started when the band released the EP Il Bucatesta, rereleasedseveral times without official distribution and promotion, and performed more than 114 times throughout Italy and Spain.
MELLOW MOOD came to life in Pordenone in 2005. Since then they established themselves as one of the most important names in the European reggae scene. They recently released their fifth studio album (LARGE, 2018) and have performed at some of the most important festivals in Europe and America, such as Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), California Roots (USA) and Jamming Festival (Colombia). As of 2015, they oversee La Tempesta Dub, a sublabel of the renowned Italian independent music label La Tempesta Records.
CACAO MENTAL is a project that mixes cumbia, electronic and psychedelic music to create songs bringing together Latin American musical tradition with cinematic and danceable sounds. Their debut album Para Extrañas Criaturas, releasedin 2017, combines an interesting electronic sound with acoustic instruments, inspiring people throughout Italy to dance.
Access to the activities of Thursday the 1st (workshops and seminars) are free of charge.
The full tickets grant access to the program of Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of August.
