Want to be inspired by the future of design? Get amazed, excited and encouraged by the most anticipated event of Milan Design Week.
Ventura Future and BASE Milano present an itinerary featuring exhibitions from emerging designers, international academies, and innovative brands; installations and interactive experiences and talks. In the evening BASE will host a music programme. These offerings will unfold in the post-industrial spaces at the creative hub BASE Milano, situated in the heart of the Tortona district.
Ventura Future is an exhibition area packed full of revolutionary, innovative and ground-breaking design focused on future visions by international designers, design studios, companies and academies. Visitors will be inspired by works of over 85 international exhibitors on 3700 m2 addressing themes such as food, craftsmanship, technology and biodesign amongst others.
PROGRAMME VENTURA FUTURE >
Starting from its aim to be a 'learning machine’, BASE Milano chooses to explore ‘un-learning / re-learning’ as the main theme of 2019 Design Week, through installations, talks and workshops. Various designers and innovators will be involved, imagining the most cutting-edge ‘school of the future’ by questioning traditional learning methods and thinking about the role that the creative and cultural sector may have in this process.
PROGRAMME BASE (exhibition and music) >
To guarantee a professional and engaged audience and create networking opportunities, visitors are required to pay an entrance fee.
Starting from 25th February 2019 it will be possible to pre-register and book tickets online. On your first visit, your e-ticket will be redeemed for a bracelet. The bracelet is valid for the whole week (9 - 14 April). The bracelet provides access to the Ventura Future Exhibition, the BASE exhibition and the BASE music programme in the evening.
Buy your ticket now and avoid the lines at the entrance. With your pre-registered e-ticket you can skip the queue, go straight to the ‘Fast Access’ entrance and immediately enter the world of future design.

La programmazione avviene negli spazi ex industriali del creative hub BASE Milano, nel cuore del distretto Tortona.
Per creare opportunità di networking e garantire la partecipazione di un pubblico professionale e coinvolto, l’ingresso è a pagamento.
Ventura Future è un’area espositiva ricca di progetti dal design rivoluzionario e innovativo focalizzato sulle visioni future, proposte da designer internazionali, studi, aziende e accademie. I visitatori saranno ispirati dai progetti di oltre 85 espositori internazionali che affronteranno, tra le altre, tematiche come il cibo, l’artigianato, la tecnologia e il biodesign.
PROGRAMME VENTURA FUTURE >
A partire dalla sua vocazione di "learning-machine", BASE Milano ha scelto di mettere la tematica "unlearning/re-learning" al centro di questa Design Week 219, indagandola attraverso installazioni, talk e workshop. Diversi designer e creativi saranno invitati a immaginare la "scuola del futuro" più all’avanguardia, interrogandosi sui metodi di apprendimento tradizionali e ripensando il ruolo che il settore creativo e culturale potrebbe ricoprire in questo processo.

A partire dal 25 febbraio i biglietti saranno acquistabili online. All’ingresso il biglietto (cartaceo o su mobile) sarà cambiato con un braccialetto valido per accessi multipli alle esposizioni di Ventura Future e BASE, e agli eventi serali per tutta la durata della Milano Design Week (dal 9 al 14 aprile).
