Più grande, più scatenato, più divertente che mai. Ma con la stessa attitudine punk rock di sempre. Anche nel 2019 torna il Bay Fest, il festival punk più atteso dell’estate. La quinta edizione si preannuncia come la più grandiosa nella storia del festival, con tre pesi massimi del panorama internazionale come headliner dell’evento, ovvero THE OFFSPRING, SKA-P e NOFX. L’appuntamento è come da tradizione a cavallo di Ferragosto: lunedì 12, martedì 13 e mercoledì 14 agosto 2019 al Parco Pavese di Bellaria Igea Marina (RN).

Le band non hanno bisogno di presentazioni, avendo scritto la storia di questo genere. I The Offspring tornano in Italia dopo lo show del 2018 e le tre grandi date dell’estate 2017. Con l’attesa alle stelle per il nuovo album su cui la band sta lavorando dopo l’ultima uscita Days Go By del 2012, il palco del Bay Fest è l’occasione perfetta per volare sulle note delle hit che hanno reso popolare questo genere come pochissime altre band al mondo hanno saputo fare. Chi non inizia a cantare appena esplodono i ritornelli di The Kids Aren’t Alright o di Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)? I The Offspring incarnano il punk rock stesso; sono la band delle grandi occasioni e fanno il loro debutto sul palco del Bay Fest per uno show leggendario.

Grande ritorno per i NOFX. La band di Fat Mike ha acceso gli entusiasmi di un Circolo Magnolia stracolmo lo scorso giugno alla tappa italiana del Punk in Drublic Fest, e si prepara a prendere d’assalto il pubblico di Bay Fest per la seconda volta dopo l’headlining del 2016. Colonne portanti del punk rock (vogliamo parlare di Linoleum? Don’t Call Me White?), battute irriverenti, singalong a squarciagola e tanto, tanto divertimento. Un concerto dei NOFX è un’esperienza dissacrantemente religiosa: le migliaia di fan che di anno in anno non perderebbero per nulla al mondo l’occasione di vederli dal vivo sono la testimonianza migliore della capacità di questa band di trascinare le folle regalando le serate più indimenticabili di una vita.

Autori di veri e propri tormentoni come Cannabis (forse ancora più nota come Legalización) che fanno cantare almeno tre generazioni di pubblico, gli Ska-P hanno da sempre fatto della commistione fra musica e impegno sociale e politico il proprio manifesto artistico. Brani quali El vals del obrero, Intifada o Mis colegas sono successi tanto di pubblico quanto radiofonici che testimoniano la volontà della band di essere sempre in prima linea nel combattere per le proprie idee, senza per questo rinunciare a divertire e divertirsi sul palco.

Insieme a loro, una lineup da urlo con nomi come Dead Kennedys, Pennywise, Good Riddance, Less Than Jake, Sick of It All, The Story So Far, Frank Turner, Pup, Masked Intruder, Punkreas, Persiana Jones, Shandon, All Coasted, Viboras e T.F.V. Inoltre, sull’Acoustic Beach Stage del Beky Bay si esibiranno gratuitamente Dave Hause, Joey Cape, Mike Noegraf e Brightr.

Bigger, wilder, more fun than ever… but with the same punk rock attitude. Bay Fest, the summer’s most anticipated punk rock festival, returns in 2019. The 5th edition aims to be the greatest one in the history of the festival, with three international heavyweights headlining the event: THE OFFSPRING, SKA-P and NOFX. Save the dates: Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th August 2019, Parco Pavese, Bellaria Igea Marina - Rimini, Italy.

All bands wrote the history of the punk rock genre. The Offspring head back to Italy after some legendary shows in 2018 and 2017. The band is working on a new album to follow up 2012’s Days Go By, and their show at Bay Fest will be the perfect chance to party on the notes of those hits that made this genre more popular than ever. Who wouldn’t start singing along as soon as the chorus of The Kids Aren’t Alright or Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) kicked in? The Offspring is the incarnation of punk rock. They are THE band for the big summer shows, and will debut at Bay Fest for a once-in-a-lifetime gig.

NOFX are making a comeback at Bay Fest. Fat Mike and his bandmates filled up Circolo Magnolia in Milan last year at the only Italian stop of his festival Punk in Drublic Fest, and they are gearing up to take the Bay Fest stage by storm after headlining in 2016. Punk rock staples (shall we mention Linoleum? Don’t Call Me White?), irreverent one liners, singalongs and a whole lot of fun. The thousands of fans that year after year wouldn’t miss the chance to see them live are proof of how great this band is to face the crowd and make them live the best night of their lives.

With real hits like Cannabis (probably better known as Legalización) in their catalogue getting at least three different generations of fans to sing along, Ska-P have always pushed a manifesto made of music and social and political commitment. Songs like El vals del obrero, Intifada or Mis colegas are hits both on the airways and among fans, proving how the band have never stopped fighting for their ideals, all the while having fun and entertaining the crowds.

Along with them, a dream-come-true lineup with names like: Pennywise, Dead Kennedys, Good Riddance, Less Than Jake, Sick of It All, The Story So Far, Frank Turner, Pup and Masked Intruder, along with locals Punkreas, Persiana Jones, Shandon, Viboras, T.F.V. and All Coasted. The acoustic stage will feature free shows from the likes of Dave Hause, Joey Cape, Mike Noegraf and Brightr just before doors open for the main stage, so you’re not going to want to miss it.
